The 70s and 80s saw much success at under age level.14s 16s and Minors enjoyed considerable success in the 70s.
Under age teams,21s and Seniors were again enjoying much success in the 80s.
Also many underage hurling teams enjoyed success and a Junior hurling team was formed.
